Ten hospitals across Southwestern Ontario are embarking on an important safety and quality transformation project expected to result in significant improvements to patient outcomes.Through this transformation of care processes, supported by integrated technology solutions, the partnering hospitals will be shifting from paper processes to electronic technology for ordering tests, prescribing medication, and adding barcoding to ensure the right patient is receiving the right medication at the right time.
