Middlesex Hospital Alliance seeks community input on Strategic Plan

(Strathroy, ON) – The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) is embarking on the development of its next Strategic Plan, spanning 2022 to 2026. MHA is inviting the public to be part of the development of the strategic plan and is launching the public engagement phase.

The MHA Board of Directors, responsible for setting the hospital’s strategic directions, endorsed the strategic planning process (work plan) which includes a robust stakeholder engagement component to provide the public, organizational partners, community groups, MHA staff, physicians and volunteers with opportunities to contribute their input. “Preparing a strategic plan is one of a Board’s most important tasks during its mandate. However, it can’t do this in isolation. That is why the ideas and input from the community and various groups will enrich our thinking as we prepare the next chapter for MHA,” stated Catherine Osborne, Chair of the MHA Board of Directors.

“More so than ever before, this strategic plan will be deeply guided by the input, insight and feedback from community members. The intent of our engagement is to create a process that will be inclusive, authentic and engaging. It is only by to hearing from you can we learn what matters to you. I hope that you will be able to take time to participate as you will help inform and shape the new plan.” said Todd Stepanuik – MHA President & CEO

All of the input gathered through the critical engagement phase will be compiled, analyzed, and used to help develop the next strategic plan, which will set out MHA’s new strategic priorities and identify the actions that will be taken to advance them.
