MHA Adopts HUGO

A First at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital

The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, in collaboration with the South West Local Health Integration Network, approved funding for the MOREOB initiative.

SMGH Lab Excels in Recent OLA Accreditation

(Strathroy, ON) –The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) recently underwent a successful Ontario Laboratory Accreditation (OLA) which resulted in an outstanding compliance rate of 98.7%. Reviewers were on site to perform an intense external appraisal of the hospital lab.

MHA Receives HIRF Funding

More than $900,000 will be spent over the next seven months at the Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA). The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) has received one time funding in the amounts of $93,144 for the Four Counties Health Services site and $877,183 for the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital site as part of the Government’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF).

Volunteers Recognized at the Middlesex Hospital Alliance

In April the Middlesex Hospital Alliance formally acknowledged the contributions volunteers make at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and Four Counties Health Services. At the MHA, volunteers are an integral part of the daily routine of the hospitals. At the Strathroy site, 90 people volunteered over 11,000 hours last year and at Four Counties, approximately 60 people volunteered over 5,400 hours…
