Be an Integral Part of Governing Your Rural, Community Hospitals – Seeking Community Representatives for the Resources Committee of the Board
The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA), comprising Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) and Four Counties Health Services (FCHS), is actively seeking candidates to join and expand the skills and experience on its Resources Committee for the 2025/26 term. The MHA Board of Directors is interested in exceptional individuals who are willing to devote their time, energy and expertise to influence healthcare in rural Middlesex County by providing valuable insights and leadership.
The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) is comprised of two fully accredited partner sites: Four Counties Health Services and Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
As a community member, you play a pivotal role and have a unique opportunity during these challenging times in healthcare to help shape healthcare for your community. We are currently recruiting for a community representative for our Resources Committee. We are seeking someone with a strong background in finance with significant experience in the financial sector. A candidate with past healthcare experience would also be preferred but is not required.
Please note, this is a community representative position only and does not require you to attend the Board of Director meetings. Instead, you provide support and your valuable insight to the Resources Committee.
Prospective candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the hospital and the community, possessing an awareness of the challenges faced by our two rural hospital sites and the broader healthcare system.
MHA is committed to diversity and equity, and welcomes applications from all individuals, including women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA2S+ persons and others who may contribute to reflect our communities’ diversity.
