Todd Stepanuik named President and CEO of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance

The Board of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Stepanuik as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance, a partnership of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and Four Counties Health Services in Newbury.  Mr. Stepanuik brings more than 20 years of progressive health care experience, serving his last 12 years as President and CEO of Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital.  He was accountable for overseeing the operational and financial management of the two site acute care facility, while guiding the strategic direction of the Hospital, which included a multi-million dollar hospital redevelopment project.

In announcing the appointment, Cheryl Waters, Board Chair of the MHA, noted that in the midst of a rapidly changing healthcare environment, Todd’s depth of experience, leadership style, passion for rural health, as well as his strong ability to build stakeholder relations, will be instrumental in charting the course for the MHA.

“It is my honour and pleasure to join the MHA,” said Stepanuik.  “I indeed feel privileged to have been selected by the executive search committee to lead the Alliance and am very much looking forward to getting to know the staff, volunteers, physicians, board and committee members, and the entire MHA community.  MHA has a long-standing reputation of providing exceptional patient care, and it gives me great pride to be a part of this growing, respected community organization.”

It is anticipated that Todd Stepanuik will commence his new position early in May.  He will be working very closely with an extremely talented senior management and physician leadership team.  The Board of Directors wishes to sincerely thank all staff and physicians for their unwavering support and assistance during this transition period.
