Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and Neighbourly Pharmacy Announce the Grand Opening of a New Retail Pharmacy

(Strathroy, ON) –The Middlesex Hospital Alliance and Neighbourly Pharmacy are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of a new retail pharmacy located at the main entrance of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH).  The Pharmacy will be operated by Neighbourly Pharmacy, Canada’s largest and fastest growing network of community pharmacies.  https://neighbourlypharmacy.ca/

This retail outpatient pharmacy partnership will help the MHA provide a seamless patient experience, improving the convenience and access of medications to patients who are visiting the Ambulatory Clinics and following their discharge from hospital. The compounding facility on the premises will further improve the quality of care by dispensing customized medications that meet the individual needs of each patient. The new pharmacy will also offer enhanced pharmacy services including vaccinations, comprehensive medication reviews and home delivery to improve access for medications and services. SMGH will continue to operate an in-house pharmacy that will have an enhanced focus on patients admitted to the hospital and their medication needs.

The pharmacy will initially be opened from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
