Masks still required at Middlesex Hospital Alliance Sites after provincial mandate expires

(Strathroy, ON) With most remaining provincial mask mandates set to expire on Saturday June 11, 2022, face masking will continue to be required inside the Middlesex Hospital Alliance sites, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH) and Four Counties Health Services (FCHS), for the foreseeable future.

Despite experiencing lower community levels of COVID-19, SMGH and FCHS will NOT be changing their masking and personal protective equipment policies and procedures at this time.  These policies apply to all visitors, patients, and workers regardless of what area they work in.  Anyone entering either hospital must continue to wear a medical-grade mask. As a vulnerable setting, these measures are in place to keep everyone safe.

The Middlesex Hospital Alliance is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our patients, employees, physicians, workers, tenants, and visitors.
