[Strathroy, Ontario] – July 15, 2026 – The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) announced today that Ron Sapsford will conclude his term as Chair of the MHA Board of Directors, effective September 30, 2026, following his appointment as Chair of the renewed Board of Directors at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).
Sapsford has served on the MHA Board of Directors for the past two years, including the last year as Board Chair. During his tenure, he provided strong governance leadership, strategic oversight, and a steadfast commitment to advancing MHA’s mission of providing the healthcare we would expect for our own families.

The MHA Board of Directors will confirm its Board Chair succession plan, effective October 1, 2026, at its September Board meeting.
