MHA Adopts HUGO

(Strathroy, ON) – The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (Four Counties Health Services and Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital) is among 10 hospital corporations in the region that are going live with a project titled HUGO (Healthcare Undergoing Optimization).

A First at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital

A total shoulder replacement was performed at the Strathroy site on Monday September 16, 2013 by Dr. Chris Chant and his team – a first for Strathroy Hospital.

MHA Proud to Launch MORE OB Program

Recently the Strathroy hospital of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) launched the MOREOB (Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently) program. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, in collaboration with the South West Local Health Integration Network, approved funding for the MOREOB initiative.

SMGH Lab Excels in Recent OLA Accreditation

(Strathroy, ON) –The Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA) recently underwent a successful Ontario Laboratory Accreditation (OLA) which resulted in an outstanding compliance rate of 98.7%. Reviewers were on site to perform an intense external appraisal of the hospital lab.
